George 1V 1830 Scottish Sheild Crown.

George Augustus Frederick was born the 12th August 1762 at St James Palace. He died on the 26th June 1830. He was he King of Great Britain, Ireland & Hanover. He was the eldest son of George 111 and his mother Charlotte Mecklenburg. By the age of seventeen he was very fond of wine and women. The real love of his life was in 1784 when the Prince met Maria Fitzherbert.

He served as princes regent from the year 1811 whilst his  father King George 111 was suffering mental illness until his fathers death in 1820.
