Edward V11 1902 Double Florin

The Obverse is by William De Saulles. 

The double florin was struck in 1887, it soon became quite unpopular and was described as "Very heavy, Very Large and Very inconvenient" it continued to be struck in decreasing numbers until 1902. This coin is to comemorate its final demise and a great talking point as we said farewell to the Double Florin in 1902.
