George V 1931 Christmas Wreath Crown.

From 1927 the mint decided to produce proof sets of the newly designed Coinage. The design was so popular that the mint decided to strike a small number annually, mainly to provide the public with keepsakes, which was often given as gifts at Christmas Time. The wreath Crown was produced annually apart from 1935 until the death of the King in 1936.  Designed by Bertram Mackennal (obverse) The wreath reverse was by George Kruger Grey.

These coins are steeped in British History. Historical representation of some of the worlds most beautiful coins ever minted.These coins are minted in the modern day with no silver content.
