This esteemed series culminates with the design of the majestic White Greyhound of Richmond, combining investment value with outstanding artistry. In the year 1449, Henry VI conferred the earldom of Richmond upon his half-brother, Edmund Tudor. With this honour, Edmund received permission to utilise a specific version of the Royal Arms featuring a white greyhound as a heraldic supporter. Edmund’s only son ultimately became Henry VII, achieving victory over Richard III at the Battle of Bosworth in 1485. The greyhound effectively represented both his Tudor and Lancastrian ancestry, affirming his claim to the throne.

The shield, which the white greyhound holds, features the Tudor rose, an emblem that combines the red rose of Lancaster and the white rose of York. This rose symbolises the unification of these rival houses by Henry VII, thereby concluding the Wars of the Roses. Jody Clark skillfully captures the nobility, power, and elegance of the greyhound, while the secure chainmail background enhances the realism of the White Greyhound of Richmond.
